Bradshaw Editing is a father-son editorial services company with over four decades of combined experience working on trade and academic books, op-eds, white papers, and articles.
We provide copyediting, proofreading, fact-checking, project management, and editorial support.
Our expertise extends to typesetting, design, indexing, and conversion to xml, ePub, and accessible ePub through our network of partners and contacts.

Our Services
We always tailor our approach to the needs of our clients. We offer:
· Copyediting: Editing for style, sense, punctuation, consistency, and grammar. Light fact-checking on request.
· Proofreading: As copyediting above, but with a lighter touch.
· Line editing: Focus on flow, argument, and continuity. Often, but not always, done as a separate pass before copy editing.
· Developmental editing: Like line editing, but also includes more suggestions for insertions, deletions, and reworks.
· Fact-checking: Can be light (web-checking of proper nouns, dates, urls), medium (the preceding plus checking of quotes), or heavy (medium, plus efforts to validate claims).
Project Management
Editorial Support
· In addition to editorial support, we can use our network to hire and supervise the work of (and connect clients to) cost-effective typesetters, designers, indexers, illustrators, and conversion specialists (xml, ePub).
· We can also do full-service work—managing an article, book, or white paper from manuscript through to final files (print and ePub).
· We also regularly do full-service quickly, without sacrificing quality or skipping steps—for example, we’ve managed book projects from manuscript to final files in six weeks.
